Brief Introduction

22FILM is a multi-functional organization which produces video and films, runs websites and cafe, with video culture as its theme. It developed from 22FILM.com, a website on video production beginning from 1999. Two affiliated companies---Beijing East Bank of West Sea Cafe Co,Ltd and Beijing Moving Pictures Wave Technical development Co,Ltd were established in 2003 in the Houhai area in Beijing.

22FILM STUDIO

22FILM STUDIO runs the bulk of businesses of Beijing Moving Pictures Wave Technical development Co,Ltd. It boasts the youngest, the most active and creative group of video artists in China who have all graduated from Beijing Film Academy and the Central Academy of Drama. Representing the new generation of Chinese video makers, they are aiming at making premium video and film in China.

1. Shooting and making video
A. 22FILM video studio
As the core of 22FILM, 22 FILM video studio commits itself to promoting DV cultures and DV technologies in China and specializes in film 、HD、BETAand digital video production. Cooperating partners include Digital Media Technology Institute of Beijing Film Academy, Panasonic and Pinnacle.
B. ULTRAGIRL animation studio
The only stop-frame animation studio in China. Every piece of its works has been warmly applauded in the animation circle and has won numerous awards home and abroad.

2. DV training
Cooperating with Beijing Film Academy in promoting DV production. Select curriculum used by Beijing Film Academy. Teachers include senior professors from Beijing Film Academy, promising Chinese film producers and independent film directors home and abroad. The first course has concluded with wide applause from students. Coming up next is frame-by-frame animation production training course ---the first of its kind in China.

3. DV equipment sales and lease
22 FILM will soon cooperate with top DV manufacturers and agents and open its DV equipment sales and lease services, filling the void in this field in China and offering a new channel for professional DV and independent producers.

二． 22FILM CAFé

The 300-square-meter 22 FILM cafe is the largest and most professional film-themed cafe in China. Situated in Houhai Area in central Beijing, 22 Film Cafe has become a pioneer of China's new video culture.

三． 22FILM.COM
Established in 1999, 22 FILM.COM is the largest professional website on video production. It has 16,000 registered members. In March 2004, 22 FILM.COM is listed 24,000 on alexa.com's world traffic ranking (ranked near DV.com, the best DV website in the world)

一． Cooperating organization

Asiepo is cooperating with 22 FILM in presenting Chinese Short Films Session in 2004.
DV Research Institute o Beijing Film Academy is having good cooperation with 22FILM in digital video and film education and HD technology research. The two sides put forward the first DV technology training course in March 2004.
Sina.com , the largest portal in China is joining 22FILM in presenting the first online DV shirt film channel in China in May 2004.
